Travelling with family can either be heaven or mayhem! There are so many boxes to tick when searching for a great family holiday, and a good Kid's Club is just the start of the search.
We've found when travelling that it takes more than a great Kid's Club to really create the lifetime of memories you want from what is often rare family time to reconnect and we've searched high and low for the best resorts in Asia your family will never want to leave.
Firstly, you want to feel welcomed. Nothing says that kids are welcome like staff that smile and warm to your kids as soon as you arrive. The attitude of staff can make or break your holiday and a smile makes up for so much!
Secondly, kids are exhausted on holidays. Often in jetlagged and in a different time zone, they're often going to bed earlier after a day in the sun and a good child-friendly room service menu can keep the night time exhaustion tears away.
Privacy - whilst we all love bonding with our kids, spending time in such close proximity 24/7 can be a little trying. An alcove, a curtain, a half wall or even better, a sliding door can help both kids and parents have a great nights' sleep.
Other things we considered for our "Best of" series for Family Resorts were great family savvy concierge who can direct you to a local supermarket or chemist, babysitting services, Kid's Clubs, waterparks, playgrounds and in room amenties like microwaves, cots, bottle warmers and even Playstations for those rainy days.
