Manhattan, New York, USA
Watching the ball drop in Times Square at midnight is probably one of the most famous ways to see in the new year. An estimated one million people make their way into Times Square to enjoy free star-studded concerts, confetti, fireworks, and the general excitement from the celebrations.
Our hot tip, to enjoy the best of this world-renowned celebration in comfort, is to book a hotel room or attend a ticketed event that has views over Times Square. There are no public bathrooms in Times Square or street vendors.
London, United Kingdom
London offers endless new years eve celebration events throughout the day and right through until the end of new years day. London puts on an incredible fireworks display that is so popular that it is a sell-out ticked event! Our hot tip is to book a magical New Year's Eve cruise on the Thames, where you can watch the NYE fireworks and enjoy live entertainment as you welcome in the new year. All the new year feels without the crowds. Check out the Visit London website for the endless list of activities.
